Birthdays: Jim Middleton (4/15), Pat Serveiss (4/16), Pope Benedict XVI (4/16), Ron DiSanto (4/16).
Keeping In-touch: My week was full: classes, two tennis outings, and a long weekend of political assemblies. We enjoyed 70°+ temperatures on Friday and it snowed on Sunday: Springtime in the Rockies! Kim rejoined us and will leave us, Tuesday, to head to her new Peace Corps Assignment (Marge calls it an upgrade) to the Republic of Georgia. Marge keeps busy with Gloria and her church activities... We wish you the best of Holy Weeks and a joyful Easter.

Readings: The Resurrection of the Lord The Mass of Easter Sunday
Some Commentary: Fr. John Foley, S. J.
My comments and an invitation for your comments: John begins the last two chapters of his gospel where Mark conclude his story of Jesus: Mary of Magdala sees the open tomb... but in John's gospel Mary runs to tell Simon Peter and the disciple whom Jesus loved. The disciples see the empty tomb and believe. We celebrate this Easter experience each Sunday. We're called to be an "Easter People." Do we show the people we encounter each day an open tomb or "our hearts burning within us"?
