Second Sunday of Easter; Sunday of Divine Mercy

My Companions pray with me: Even in our doubts and lack of faith, we praise You LORD. May all we do promote Your Glory among us. We seek Your forgiveness for all our contributions to Your pain on the Cross. And we thank You for life, mercy, and redemption. Please provide us with all we need and help us to share all Your blessings with our neighbors.

Birthdays: Donna Van Dusen (4/21), Kevin Norton (4/22), Logan Torres (4/23), Kim Dixon (4/24), David Schnitzer (4/26), Steve Jacobs (4/27), Makayla Schnitzer (4/28); Anniversaries: Fr. Michael Carvill (4/21/90), Ed & Betty(d.) Lay (4/23/47).

Keeping In-touch: We experienced a powerful Holy Week and a wonderful celebration of Easter Sunday. We had a most beautiful sunny day and enjoyed friends and family. We pray that all of our "bread-sharers" (companions) also enjoyed a day filled with life. Our week was also filled with tennis, our daily routines, and preparations for visiting our family in that foreign land (California). Be filled with joy!

The Readings: Second Sunday of Easter; Sunday of Divine Mercy

Some Commentary: Fr. John Foley, S. J.

My comments and an invitation for your comments:  I had an opportunity to walk to Mass this morning. A half an hour can be a long time to reflect on all one's doubts and sins. But the half-hour walk home thinking about The Lord's awesome mercy seemed to fly-by! How great is the Mercy of the Lord!
John
